Discounted child care

All full-time staff will receive FREE childcare with the following guidelines:

  • All eligible staff must complete an application for Publicly Funded Childcare (PFCC) through NOCAC / ODJFS / ODCY. Staff who are approved for PFCC must follow all rules and regulations set forth by ODJFS / ODCY for their child’s tuition. If a PFCC family co-pay is required, PNAZ/Little Sprouts will write-off the co-pay for that staff member. Staff members that receive a denial for PFCC will receive free childcare from PNAZ/Little Sprouts.

  • Staff members will receive FREE child care during their shift or during the week so long as they are working their scheduled hours every week.

  • If a staff member’s child(ren) is going to come during an absence of 5 or more days, the staff member, the staff member will be required to pay for their child(ren)’s attendance.

  • Free childcare is limited to children who the staff member is the legal guardian of.

  • If staff are offered free childcare from another source, including but not limited to a spouse's employer, they are required to utilize that option to it's limit before using this benefit.
